Publicity Campaigns

Mireille has led impactful publicity and communications campaigns for a wide range of companies and organisations, particularly in the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) sector and the arts and culture industries.

Mireille was Communications and PR Lead for BYP Network for two years, where she managed email marketing, content creation, copywriting, social media strategy, scheduling, and publicity campaigns. In this role, she helped elevate the organisation’s visibility and reach. Additionally, Mireille served as PR and Communications Lead for Catalyst Collective, an organisation focused on raising awareness of the gender pay gap in the workplace, and played a key role in securing press opportunities and generating PR leads. Mireille has also worked with notable clients such as Delroy Matty, Suli Breaks, and Content Is Queen.

Her work with Bad Form includes leading pro-bono publicity for their Food issue, which resulted in coverage in British Vogue, Metro, and Foodism, helping the issue sell out its entire print run. As the guest editor for their Caribbean issue, she secured sponsorship from Duppy Share, as well as press coverage in PORT Magazine, a newsletter takeover by Crack Magazine, a feature on the Penguin Random House website, and a slot on Westside Radio.

Mireille has also led successful PR campaigns for Punch Records. In 2019, she spearheaded the publicity for their festival Bass, securing national and international press coverage. For their 2020 festival, Soul Acoustic, she again led the press campaign, achieving extensive nationwide media coverage.

Workshops and Events

Mireille hosts and facilitates panels, talks, and workshops at a variety of industry events, schools and educational establishments. She covers a wide range of topics, including publishing, DEI, social media and communications, arts and culture, race and identity, and business and creative careers. Her work also extends to engaging with diverse audiences through workshops and events that foster meaningful discussions and promote learning in these areas.

Mireille’s former clients include New Writing South, The Barbican, London Bridge City, Wilderness Festival, Writing West Midlands, OpenBooks, Violet Simon, Feminist Book Society, UK Black Business Week, Dorling Kindersley, Levi's, The Royal Overseas League, SYP Scotland, BookMachine, Grazia, The Women’s Prize, The 93% Club, International Literacy Association, Spark Young Writers, Wandsworth Libraries, This Is Book Love, The University of Birmingham Literature Festival, Babes in Development, NativeFM, Plan International UK, Birmingham Literature Festival, and Eric Fest. She has also worked with schools, including Deptford Green School and Rushey Green School, delivering engaging and educational sessions for students.

In addition to live events, Mireille regularly appears on podcasts and radio shows, having worked with Fun Kids Radio, A Seat at the Table, Making Conversation with Grant Brydon, Plus Future Podcast, Growing Up with Gal-Dem, I Like Networking, Feminised, and Close-Up with Aurelia Magazine.

Mireille collaborates with brands on social media campaigns, as well as long-term or project-based partnerships. She works exclusively with brands that align with her personal interests and values, particularly those that are creative, cultural, and community-driven.

Her work involves strategic collaborations that elevate brand messaging while staying true to the values of authenticity and inclusivity. Mireille is passionate about supporting brands that foster positive change, creativity, and community engagement.
